Parramatta High School students raised $600 to give much needed assistance to the people of East Timor. In association with Harmony Day the students of our school held a gold coin donation mufti-day. The response by our students overwhelmed the representatives of the Parramatta branch of Zonta, which is a charity organisation to help the plight of women. Mrs Anne Iselia and Mrs Shirley Purser attended our weekly assembly and praised the generosity of our students. Mrs Purser said that the money raised will make the rebuilding of the lives of many families in East Timor so much easier.
