The Web Page Editor's 2¢ worth

I have no idea whether the school site was a shale quarry or a brick pit (one day I'll peruse the dusty archives at Council) but I would like to offer this observation.

Recently the PHS Environment Committee undertook the greening of a small patch of dirt outside the Industrial Arts block. You can see the result in 3D here. In digging the hole to plant the palm tree a large quantity of shale was unearthed. Granted, this site has been dug over many times (it was the tennis courts in the '30s) but the shale must have come from somewhere!
