Another Lunar Eclipse over Parramatta
— July 16 2000 —
This is the last image taken before the cloud moved in again.

It has been flipped back to the "correct" orientation for southern hemisphere (naked eye) viewers.

It represents the limit of the low-light ability of the CCD camera - hence the extensive "noise".

The moon is less than 15 minutes into totality here. The red colour was not yet uniform over the entire globe. An hour later it was, but clouds at this site prevented any further photos.

On to Saturn, Jupiter, or the moon, in much more detail.
