Each year Parramatta High School welcomes the return of its ex-students.

After a succesful reunion held in November 2000, the LC1960 decided to celebrate the anniversary
of the year they started high school - 1 February, 1956.

 Those fresh-faced youngsters of long ago re-assembled at the Parramatta Leagues Club for lunch followed by a nostalgic bus tour of Parramatta. They then moved onto the school for afternoon tea with the 2006 Prefects.

Organised by 1960 School Captain Bob Porter, everyone had a wonderful time despite the heat of the day. The ex-students marvelled at how they managed their studies in over-crowded classrooms (40-plus students) without air-conditioning.
