Reunions
Each year Parramatta High School welcomes the return of its ex-students.
Reunion groups and individuals visit the school and remember their days of youthful exuberance in these hallowed halls......

The Leaving Certificate Class of 1958

In September 2004, the school hosted a reunion for the students of the LC1958 who celebrated the 50th anniversary of the year they started high school.

In 1954, Parramatta High School was still the only selective high school in the area and each primary school sent at least two students. Many of these students left their friends "behind". Others continued a long family connection with the school - their grandparents, uncles, aunts, parents and siblings having attended the school.

Fifty-six ex-students met in the school library to catchup on each others lives and remember good friends since passed. A delicious luncheon was followed by short speeches from the organiser, school captain Lois McClintock and vice captain Sue Mildwater.

There was some spirited competition during the house war cries and a rousing rendition of the school song. All agreed that it was a splendid day and they look forward to their next reunion in 2008.
