 12 August 2007 On a beautiful Sunday in August 2007, 100 ex-students and 30 partners gathered at the school to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their final school year. For some, it had been 50 years since they had set foot in the old school - and yet it seemed like yesterday. These days the walk up the hill to the school is a little harder to negotiate but at least the girls no longer have to wear the heavy tunic, thick black stockings, hats and gloves. At an informal assembly in the quad, the school song was sung with pride. Old friendships were rekindled and new ones formed. Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful day and all are looking forward to gathering again at the school's 100th anniversary celebrations in 2013.
