Parents are encouraged to participate and be involved in many aspects of school life. Each term the Parents & Citizens Association meets and contributes significantly to policy development, decision making and school governance. The Parents & Citizens Association was supportive of the introduction of the Selective Stream in Year 7 in 2010.

The opinion of parents is also sought through surveys and parent interviews. We have been very successful in obtaining grants for a variety of important school projects such as funds for an electrical upgrade and the refurbishment of the boys’ toilets. A new school uniform was designed for junior girls for 2008.

There is a strong sense of partnership between the school and its community. I encourage all parents and citizens to participate in their child's learning.
