Successful candidates are chosen through a ballot system involving their peers and school staff. The School Prefects undergo a period of probation and participate in leadership and team building activities. The Senior Prefects are elected by the Prefect Body. A formal induction assembly is held in March. The School Prefects play a vital role in school life. They have representation on the Student Representative Council and Annual School Report committee. Their duties include conduct of school assmeblies, peer support and assistance in the school canteen. They represent the school at school functions and community events. The Prefects are expected to set the highest example in dress, attendance, conduct and involvement in school affairs.
