"Sphairee:   n. a game played on a small hard court with a perforated plastic ball; a reduced derivative of tennis. "
(The Macq.D. p.1629)
"...a reduced derivative of tennis"? What's that mean? Sort of - "Low-Fat Tennis"?

Monday 16/11/98 found me, the 30 sq ft flowform, a nice breeze and Mr G's class all outside together.
I'm told the game being played is "sphairee". Let's try to figure out how it works.
