Two smaller specimens - the one on the left is 75mm diameter, the other is 130mm diameter.


Most of us have seen little bunches of mushrooms sprouting around our gardens after a protracted wet spell. This Parramatta High School teacher was a little surprised when he saw these specimens growing around the roots of an old pine tree.

Surprised?
Well... they were up to 200mm across - the size of a dinner plate!
