Some General Information

Parramatta High School was established in 1913 as the first coeducational high school in the Sydney Metropolitan area. In its eighty plus years the school has built a reputation for quality outcomes and developed traditions which create high expectations for each generation of students.

As a quality comprehensive high, the school has all the resources to meet the changing educational needs of students.

The curriculum is extensive and offers a wide range of elective subjects including Vocational Education and TAFE options for the Higher School Certificate.

The challenge to adapt to change at Parramatta High School is assisted by the expectations of tradition and is met with the confidence buoyed by student success in previous years.

The resources are excellent and include

  • five science laboratories,
  • two computer rooms,
  • a language laboratory,
  • a fully equipped music room,
  • an integrated audio visual system,
