Parramatta High is a welcoming and friendly school that encourages and promotes parent and community involvement.

Parents & Citizens meet regularly and are a welcome voice in school governance. They have an opportunity to be represented on a variety of committees including enrolment, merit selection, Annual School Report, uniform and school promotions.

A fortnightly newsletter informs parents about school activities and events.

Parents are welcome to contact the school to discuss their child’s progress and attend events such as the:

  • Year 7 Meet the Teacher
  • Selective Classes Information Night
  • NAPLAN Results Night
  • Parent Teacher Night
  • Year 10 Subject Selection Evening

Student achievement is regularly celebrated on weekly school assemblies and at special events such as the:

  • Academic Recognition Ceremony
  • NAPLAN Results Night
  • Awards Presentation Night

Parents of enrolling Year 7 students receive important information at the Year 7 Orientation Day and Selective Classes Information Evening.

The school hosts an Open Day in March of each year.
