Parramatta High School has a strong tradition of outstanding academic success and a future as a partially selective school.

Placement in first round offers for university is above the state average. Outstanding results in the 2009 HSC, with twenty four entries on the Sydney Morning Herald the Merit List for a score over 90 in a subject - 14 in Mathematics.

Our students consistently perform above state average across the curriculum and were recognised with a dual award for literacy and numeracy for student growth in these areas in 2008.

We celebrate the achievement and personal success of our students at assemblies and awards nights throughout the year.

Our quality teaching and learning programs have been recognised with the introduction of selective classes in Year 7 2010.

A highly successful careers program ensures that our students have the best possible access to further education, scholarships, early access schemes or full-time employment at the completion of their studies.

A safe, happy learning environment
